Porco Mine

Producing

The Porco Mine, located in the municipality of Potosí in Bolivia’s Potosí Department, was acquired by Santacruz Silver in 2022 and is operated under a Net Profit Interest (NPI) Agreement with COMIBOL, pursuant to which Santacruz receives 45% of net profits and the remaining 55% is allocated to the Bolivian government. The operation is an underground zinc-dominant polymetallic mine with a long history of mining activity in the district, with mining at Porco dating back more than 500 years.

The Porco mine operation consists of an underground mine and associated surface infrastructure, supported by a processing facility with a nominal capacity of approximately 1,200 tonnes per day. The processing plant employs a conventional crushing, grinding and selective flotation flowsheet typical of silver-zinc-lead operations, producing separate zinc and lead concentrates. Mineralization is hosted in NNE–NE trending polymetallic veins and is characterized by zinc-dominant grades, averaging approximately 77 g/t silver, 5.77% zinc, and 0.36% lead, with head grades reflecting 2025 operating average grades.
